This turnkey refurbishment was completed for a young family with two children, designed to reflect a timeless aesthetic while showcasing their growing art collection. The clients’ preferred colour palette of soft blues, whites, and greys guided the overall scheme, creating a calm and cohesive backdrop. Functionality was key, with an emphasis on child-friendly design — no sharp edges, and materials selected for durability and ease of maintenance. For example, kitchen chairs and stools were upholstered in faux leather, and the oval ceramic dining table features rounded edges and a stain-resistant surface. Sustainability was also a priority, with natural materials used throughout. In the master bedroom, a rug made from recycled fishing nets adds an eco-conscious layer of texture, while still feeling soft and luxurious underfoot.
